"Been using BMG Metals for 3 years. Front desk is generally friendly in person. NO ONE answers the phone. I think in 3 years I have called and gotten maybe one call answered. Always have to drive over to get a quote. Unfortunately items on the website are no longer stocked/produced. Cut shop won't load unless you get out and track them down to do so. Other shop not very friendly either. Had one issue in 3 years, gentleman was rude, but immediately fixed it. For as many people as work here, it is very slow and generally seems like no one wants to be there. Prices are OK. No competition. If another place opens in the area, I am guessing BMG would go out of business in a few months."

"My company uses this place as one of their metal suppliers. They're overpriced & NEVER have the materials ready... I get paid by the hour, so the latter isn't too bad for me."

"While the pricing is pretty good and the selection is ok, good luck getting what you order on time. About half the time I come to pick up my order, they either haven't cut it, lost the order slip, don't have what I ordered in house, or any other number of excuses. This time, they didn't have half an order that I placed over a week and a half ago and nothing was cut. I have been sitting here for over 30 min while they scramble trying to fix it and replace what they don't have."

"I’ve ordered material from here many times and have been doing so for a while. I am very disappointed with the customer service I’ve experienced. The people helping with orders are friendly, but the ones who work in the back, not so much. Everyone seems to have a attitude problem. My orders are almost always delayed or something just happens to be wrong with them. There have been times where I was told the order is ready and when I came in , material hadn’t even been cut. A recent order of mine, they did the wrong cuts on the material and the guy who does the cuts, Christopher tells me that’s not what I paid for when In fact I had the order slip that clearly showed the type of cut I had requested. First he was refusing to do the cuts for me and was being very rude about cutting them a second time. When I came in to pick up the recuts which were delayed by almost three weeks, same guy Christopher was literally yelling at us when I asked about the cuts. Also, that’s not the first time I’ve had that experience with him. So, that’s what you get for being a loyal customer. Great job BMG!"

"I've been waiting here long enough to read every review written as well as write my own. The people up front are friendly but painfully slow. The people in the back are unfriendly and painfully slow. Luckily i only visit here for materials for my hobbies. I have a hard time understanding why any professional would use this place though. It always takes atleast two hours, from my experience, to receive materials. I've called my order in every time before my arrival and have never needed to have anything cut. Plan on spending a solid 30 minutes just looking for an employee to assist you. They do seem to have a good selection of materials and the prices seem fair (I have very little to base that off of) but the customer service is awful at best."
