"My wife and I came to this restaurant looking for a 'fancy' place to celebrate our 5th year anniversary, and boy, did we choose right! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by all of the staff and that us being there mattered to them. Upon finding out that we were celebrating our anniversary, they offered us complementary champagne to celebrate. Our table staff was very kind. We had Ja'Kaylyn and Pete, and the manager Brett came by and checked on us. I believe Jk was in training and did an exquisite job of making sure we were well taken care of. During our meal, knowing that we were celebrating, they allowed us the opportunity to move away from the loud tables next to us. For dinner, we had the crab rolls as an appetizer, with the 12oz wagyu new york and grilled bone-in trout with additional scallops as our entres. The sides were rainbow potatoes, and I also got the Brussels sprouts as well. Everything was cooked to perfection and had delicious flavor. For dessert, we had the teramasou cake and ice cream. This was my least favorite part of the meal as it was frozen like an ice cream cake. I just wasn't expecting that, but it also had wonderful flavor. Overall, we would rate this 10/10. If you are going to celebrate something special of just looking for a lovely night out, we would recommend this restaurant full heartly. We will visit again soon."
"My wife forgot to tell our waiter that she wanted no dressing in her salad. Nevertheless, our waiter graciously took it back and brought a salad with dressing on the side. It was great, with strawberries and pistachios. My red snapper was just great. See photo. It had died naturally, of fish bending disease. But tasted delicious!!"
"Wow, what a great experience! My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and were blown away by the awesome service, cozy atmosphere, and of course incredible food. Austin was our server and shared so much culinary knowledge and gave us menu suggestions based on our preferences. He was also lots of fun and professional. The Hamachi Crudo was probably the highlight for us! So light and flavorful. Definitely recommend steak cooked over the open flame as well as the brownie for dessert. We will absolutely be back!"
"The decor and interior ambiance is quite nice, but the service was weird. The vibe from the staff was more like an Applebee's and far less fancy than the place is dressed up to be. I ordered an appetizer, a main, and a side. The side, mushrooms arrived first. They were okay and swimming in plenty of tasty sauce, but got a bit much to eat alone without any accompaniment. Shortly thereafter the appetizer, pork belly, and burger arrived at the same time. All these plates of food barely fit on the small hi-top table, so I had to utilize the second one next to me as a staging area. I think my steak knife was dull, as it had a difficult time cutting through the crispy exterior of the pork belly. Inside the pork belly was just fat meat, and had little flavor. The burger was ok for a half-pound patty but just didn't have any wowing flavor. My server was nice and friendly enough, given her auto-charged tip was guaranteed. After she ran my card and brought me the receipt to sign, she returned to collect it no less than three times in 10 minutes."
"We had a fabulous time dining at the Rider restaurant! The service was Amazing and food was delicious! The hostess’s were both helpful both nights were dined in and our server Scott was phenomenal! His energy and professionalism kept us entertained and glasses full. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Well done!! We will definitely be back when we visit Seattle!!"
