"A quaint little monument, but cool to know about the history. It's kind of out of the way and difficult to find, but you can walk there from the rental car parking near the Ronald Reagan airport. Feel free to stop by if you have extra time and are feeling like stretching your legs."
"Home site of the Alexander family. Namesake of the Virginia colonial city of "Alexander-ia." It's on the airport property and is a nice little park. If you have time to kill while stuck in the terminal, it's only a 5 minute walk from security"

"I think it's great that despite building an airport around the area people have the decency to commemorate historic spots like this. The grounds are small but well-maintained. You COULD visit by car if you're not using the airport. Not exactly sure where you could park to walk to it without driving into the car rental area. I drove in and managed to find a place to park, but in order to leave I had to explain to the gate guard why I was there. It was worth it for me personally though because my ancestors rented the house for a little while sometime before it met its demise."
"From the terminal, take the walkway toward the Metro and Parking. Follow signs to Parking Area A. It's a nice, well-kept little park to visit and learn some history. Plenty of signs and several benches to sit and relax."
