"Nice building, recently renovated, walking distance from Old Town. Parking plenty, taking into account the multi level one across the street."
"We stopped in the gift shop to buy some tea and other gifts. We could see the newest historical displays, which are open for the public, now."
"A great place to visit and learn about the history of Manassas. Located just across the street from the the train station, another spot of historic interest, you can easily walk to the museum grounds. There is plenty of parking on site and plenty of restaurants, stores and other entertainment venues nearby."
"Welp, building was renovated & it looks alright. Not sure who insisted on green cement tiles on the exterior...and how they missed an opportunity to set up a large open air atrium for events rather than build a glass room dedicated to nothing but post it notes...and frankly, there's nothing new in this dinky museum; in fact, the exhibits are even smaller than before (basically, just 2x 15' walls of pictures. Yes that is it). I never understood the purpose of this museum, and now even less so. Glad the bathrooms are back open for when the kiddos are at the train playground. Which by the way...maybe the city should invest some money upgrading that playground. So many events there, families gathering, etc etc. Give it some love."
"Located within Historic Downtown Manassas, the Manassas museum is a a good place to learn about the beauty, significance, and transformation of Manassas with its historical context. The museum and museum store is now open and welcomes visitors. The historical timeline exhibits introduces the birth and growth of Manassas alongside notable/interesting events. The community wall exhibits display heartwarming prospects of young Manassasians about their beloved community, which puts a smile on viewers’ faces. More exhibitions will be open in fall 2023. Admission is free. A visit to the Manassas museum can be a great way to experience the friendliness and hospitality of Manassas."
