Reviews
"Couple small monuments and a small museum here. Some hiking trails as well. Plenty of parking. Restrooms available. Small gift shop. Worth stopping by to see a few of the sites"
"Lots of parking. This area of the park has nice patches of milkweed. There are some short trails through shady trees then they open up into grasslands. There is a nice pond about half a mile from the trail head. One thing to note here, as with the battlefield in whole, is the abundance of Lonestar ticks. There are public restrooms at this location as well. If you are into the parks history, this probably isn't the place for you. There are a few historical markers talking about former land owners, but not much else."
"Stuart's Hill had clean facilities and grounds. The short loop out to Lewis is well maintained. Keep in mind if you are doing a morning hike the trails are mown grass so your footwear will get soaked from dew. Some persistent insects near the stream crossings."
"Really beautiful, vast and historic park. Never crowded. This particular address will bring you to the employee building, which is a great way to get to the start of one of the walking paths. We bring our dog here all the time, and throw his frisbee in the massive open field. There's a decent size pond for fishing too, with some nice calming streams too."
