"Beautiful store but painful customer service. Was shopping on a Wednesday midday when it was not busy, and no one asked me if I needed help, offered me a dressing room when I was holding lots of stuff, or checked on me to get another size. I was on the fence about some ski pants, but honestly didnt really want to give them my business after this experience. There were four employees standing behind the register chatting and I was the only one in the store. Would love to support them if they made more of an effort training their employees on basic friendliness and customer service."

"I have shopped with Backcountry many times throughout the years online, but never in store. When I finally had the opportunity to visit their brand new store in U Village, my family and I were blown away. Great selection, wonderfully helpful staff, and just a generally nice shopping experience all around. I found what I needed, and family members not intending to shop ended up finding some apparel themselves. Definitely will be back."

"I usually shop online, no issues with the brand and generally happy. But the security guard at this store is very aggressive. I was looking for gifts this afternoon for my dad and it takes me a lot time to decide on things, I usually will go back in forth to the same item. I went back twice to look at a hat by the door and each time he got way to close to me while I was shopping, I felt like he was trying to intimidate me and made me very uncomfortable. I get there might be a shop lifting issue at this store but making customers feel like criminals is really not the vibe."

"Forest is the best worker ever!!! My bf and I went shopping for some clothes for his new job, he ended up loving a pair of pants from Backcountry but they were out of stock nationwide of the color and size he needed. We went to multiple other stores and he couldn’t stop talking about these pants and how he wished he could get them. WELL Forest had helped us in store that night. The next day I get a call and decide to answer even though I didn’t recognize the number. IT WAS FOREST! They had found a few pairs of the color and size my bf needed and they remembered my account info from the night before and called me offering to put them on hold. I can’t even tell you how excited my bf was! Thanks Forest! Truly went above and beyond and we couldn’t be more grateful!"

"This is a great store. I’ve only visited once but my mom has bought numerous things here, including a pair of snow pants for me. The layout of the store is very inviting and cheerful, with a lot of lights. They have some great products as well, I got a ski jacket and balaclava here; I included pictures of both. I really like how they have sales pretty often too! This store is perfect for the outdoorsy and adventuring PNWer, I’m looking forward to coming back!"
