"While the effort to commemorate this part of history is appreciated, there is little here to see. Due to the nature of the Coloured Grave Yard site, history just wasn't preserved. Instead, land owners eventually allowed for the construction of a water tower on the site's western side. To the eastern side, a historical marker describing the area is present. Overall, the area is only a field, but it is maintained."
"Interesting graveyard. Sad part of American history"
"Another shamefully forgotten (ignored) piece of history. I grew up near there and never knew it existed. Desecrated by building a water tower on it."
"I think museum as a description is overstating. It is more a historical, markeras all there is is a sign and a field."
