"This school is great the teachers and the school in general. But to make ot a little better would be the basketball rims outsode at lunch."
"I believe the principal is more concerned about the final scoring, touchdown, basket, volley, or first place ribbon, rather than the well rounded success of all students. He's part of the good old boys club, so if you don't walk through his tunnel, don't expect any support. One of the female counselors has more pressing responsibilities than to return parent emails regarding a student in crisis. Her personality is cold, she doesn't follow through with procedural requirements, as established by the district, and she lacks respectful communication with parents. With that said, there are a handful of AMAZING teachers and staff who consistently go that extra mile, and sincerely care about a well rounded student, and their future success. Shout out to: Mrs. Morningstar, Ms. LeBlanc, Mrs. Ireland, Mr. Pederson, Mrs. Grimstead, and Mrs. Metz. I'm sure there are more exceptional teachers and staff, but the above are those my children have had interaction. The front office staff has always been professional, polite, and informative. I'd like to see Shahala MS administration take the summer to reflect upon educating the whole child, and not just the ones that fall into the category of athlete."
"My son has gone to the school for three years and is absolutely happy with every experience he's had here. What makes my kid happy makes me happy."
"I love this school it is so pretty and such a great school and all the teachers help the kids become better at all kinds of skills like cooking, math, science, acting, being a leader and, many others"
"Great school, tons of help available everywhere. There's always someone to help with a certain problem that may occur. Almost every teacher I have encountered has been extremely helpful towards problems, or just basic questions that a student may ask."
