"I ordered a rod from Edge that they had in stock, shipping time & return shipping label the only good part of my experience. After receiving the EFX Pro rod, the butt on the rod was extremely sharp due to the unfinished grip/epoxy around the rod butt. Three of the guides weren't aligned and this rod was really tip heavy. I've had $100 fishing rods that felt way better than their junk. After sending the rod back, I figured to wait a week or so to process my credit card refund. Then had to contact them about my credit card refund, they said it would take 5-6 weeks, which is the biggest joke I've ever heard from any company!!! So I immediately contacted my credit card company and submitted my chargeback dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. Worst fishing related company I have ever dealt with!!!!"

"I am a full time guide and usually use or is and sage fly rods. I was interested in trying an edge rod and I am blown away with what I got and how much I paid. Sage and orvis cost the same to manufacture but they charge 1000$ for a fly rod and edge will do it for 285$!? American made, high modulus graphite with high end components. You have to be stupid to not get one of these. The negative of edge rods is how long the rods take to ship. They are a small batch company, have patience people! Or go buy from china but it’s up to you"

"Decided to give Edge a try with the Gary Loomis connection. Ordered two rods and I can not express the lack of customer service when trying to receive details. I have emailed, called, left voice-mail, reached social channels, actually dialed a random extension number, got a hold of someone who just confused the process further. Sure the product may be alright but I can guarantee I won't be purchasing from edge again."

"I would put zero stars if I could. I ordered a 360 Pro in early June. By the middle of August, I still didn't have my rod. I was told in the middle of July there was a shortage of material. Then at the end of July I inquired and all I heard back was crickets.. So, I cancelled the order on 08/16 because they still hadn't built the rod or was able to tell me when they could (mind you this is all via email because they don't answer their phone). It took until SEPTEMBER 12th to get my refund!! Almost a FULL MONTH after cancelling the order! Never mind that I paid them 3 months prior. I will never order another one from them. Too bad too, because I sure like my G-Loomis rods."

"Growing up in Woodland, Wa. I've always heard the name Gary Loomis, I've seen many things Gary has contributed to our community. And recently, I attended a Special needs Childrens fishing event, and I saw a crew of Edge employees volunteering their time, helping the kids and families catch fish. They didn't take any photos or post their good deeds on social media, they just volunteered, and I took note of that. I decided a few weeks ago I wanted to up my fishing game, i've alway done alright with another brand, but I was getting bored of the catch on the other rods, I wanted more sensitivity and feeling, and heard about how great the Edge rods are, and because I see what they do for our community and that they hire people from my community, and the product is made in America, It was a no brainer to give them a shot. I purchased a X Ray StR 933-2!! Well, fast forward two weeks later and multiple fish later I bought a second rod, the StR 905-2, This is thee best rod I have ever had the pleasure of catching fish with spinners, I highly recommend. I'm not really a ordering over the website kinda guy, and because they are close, I just drove to the shop, told them what I was looking for and they helped me pick the rod out.
