"Talking to a brick wall is genuinely more helpful than talking to this "psychiatrist". If you've ever wanted to be completely ghosted (i tried email, phone, and text) by the person who helps you get your prescription meds, then Lisa Katon might just be the right provider for you! However, if you dont want to spend 25$ for a 5 minute zoom call with someone who VERY clearly doesn't care about you, than you should seek an alternative. You'd have a better chance getting real mental health care from a stranger than from this office."

"I had my first appointment with Lisa and left within 10 minutes. She should not be practicing. She had a difficult time giving me eye contact and instead looked at the PC. She told, I didn't trust her. She also said, I had not trusted her since I walked into her office. None of that was true. Lisa is not a mind reader. Of course I trusted her. I was there to get some guidance. I was dressed in business casual and arrived 30 minutes early to ensure I got to Gig harbor on time. She offered my co-payment back and I left within a few minutes. It's shocking that people like this are allowed to practice. Lisa needs to be a patient not a practitioner. Be aware you're wasting your time and money."

"After seeing a real psychiatric doctor, I realized just how twisted and skewed the beliefs of this doctor are. She seems to be much more concerned with how she looks to board members rather than caring about her patients. It took me a year to realize how badly I was treated by nurse Lisa, how she dismissed all of my issues as being in my head, and what real mental health treatment looks and feels like. I'd strongly reccomend people stay away from here."

"We went for couples counseling through the VA. The first visit was short but there were some red flags. She interrupted us with her chastising each of us. We thought it was a bad day for her. Second visit was the same. Neither of us felt her personal opinions were helping. Then I got a 118 page form to fill out. Knowing how she was, I was hesitant to fill it out. She seemed the type that would prescribe pills rather than get to the root of the problem. I stated I did not want any prescriptions for I have health issues (cancer) and did not provide my doctors name or drug store. Rather than inquire WHY I didn't want to provide that so we could discuss my hesitancy, she dropped us with a long drug out version how I was being untruthful, etc. I gave her a LOTof personal info about my child hood abuse, etc. in that 118 pages if questions, I didn't trust her! Luckily she was easy to replace with someone we both can trust. People who want to get help shouldn't be ran down but given respect and help getting over obstacles ."
