"Went in early March so wait times were not bad. Price was reasonable. It is a great way to get around between islands. Ferry was clean, snack bar was well equipped."
"Love this park. Well maintained with good bathrooms and picnic tables. Great place to bring the family, and kids will have a blast exploring the Old fort; however, keep a close eye on the younger kids because there are areas that are a fall risk to them."
"Beautiful place but very tough for camping in the summer. Just spent a week in January, and it's 50Mph plus winds , yet this is why I love winter RV camping in the winter."
"Amazing! Great spot for all ages. We explored with our kids and felt like kids. We flew kites, saw sea lions, beach combed and explored the fort. Kids said it was the best part of our trip."
"The old gun batteries were interesting to see and it was nice that there's not too much graffiti. The number of signs describing what was there was very insufficient. It was fun to wander through the old passageways but some of them were inexplicably locked and most of them lacked any lighting and 95% of them had no signage to describe what they might have been used for. If you have a great imagination or some foreknowledge of what you're looking at then you might have a better time here than someone who doesn't know anything about the fort. The gift shop lobby was maybe 100 square feet; there wasn't much there. Employees of the gift shop were unable to answer some specific questions about the fort. The bathrooms are a good walk from the gun batteries but they're clean."
