Reviews of Port Blakely Mill Company Generator Building
"It's a big old concrete building covered in graffiti! Some is tasteful and can be considered art, others are just tags. That's how it goes with this sort of stuff. It's a rough spot so don't expect it to be clean and beautiful."
"Interesting history. And lots of graffiti which in this case is a good thing. Nice, easy trails to walk as well. Decent bird watching, too, and nice view of Seattle across Puget Sound."
"Took the ferry from Seattle. Got to the island and I drove to this place, very close. Graffiti was so awesome. Ladder leading up to the building. Waterview. Cityview. Pull over area. You can get out and walk here. Little bridge. Trail leads somewhere but I didn't follow it You can see the ships, boats. Met some strangers they were cool, gave me a little history on the place. Bainbridge Island."
"You never know what kind of graffiti you’ll encounter. Great pacific octopus on the exterior, but then someone sprayed “eat dick” over it... So is the life of a graffiti. A lot of broken glass both inside the old mill and around it, so we had to be more careful with our dog. Located along the trail system so a visit is easy to tack on to a morning hike. Spotted three seals in the harbor."
"Pretty cool historical site to checkout. The building is used for people to graffiti while keeping the rest of the town pristine. The views are nice and we also saw some seals!"
