"The staff was wonderful!! The building was beautiful...those who attended Albert's celebration were so impressed!! We were all grateful to have chosen this place!"
"The space is gorgeous but it’s difficult to navigate to. Not the locations fault I guess, but it took up a lot of time trying to figure out which building was which. Now that I know, it’ll be easier to find it if I ever come here again but since this is an event space I kind of doubt it."
"The RC Building Ballroom was perfect for our adult birthday party of 60 people. Room would accommodate up to 100 seated, however, we wanted people to circulate so had seating tables and standing ones. One of the best aspects of this room, over similar-sized rented space in a hotel, was the wall of windows and architectural details. Lots of natural light even on a rainy December, Washington day. Many of our guests commented on how pleasantly different it was to attend a party in such lovely space. Staff at the Historic Trust (management for the rented spaces in this National Park Service site) was great to work with through all stages of planning, layout, logistics and during the event. I've planned countless small and large corporate events in my working days and only wish that I could have offered such a well-appointed space and enjoyed the professional, caring and patient guidance of Mary Richard and the rest of the staff at The Historic Trust. Call The Historic Trust first for your next event. You will find less expensive spaces; just few any more unique and inviting."
"Perfect venue for my husband's retirement party. Big kudos to the Historic Trust for their help in this! Everyone had a blast."
"This rather small building carries with it a large piece of Fort history. Beautifully restored , the Red Cross Building , is not open to the public at this time but is available for a walk around it and can be included in a general walk, bike ride or drive through the fort. Free access to wander the area around the RCB . Parking available."
