"A great museum, well laid out and super informative. Every city/town should hope to be this lucky. Friendly staff and great exhibits outside the building as well. Kids area inside. Picnic tables for a wonderful visit and free parking."
"This a small historical museum depicting the history of Lopez Island. It well curated and the docent is a lovely life-long resident. She graciously answered all questions. We felt it was worth a hour visit."
"Lovely new exhibit on the history of Native Americans and mixing with early settlers on the Island. Also a fascinating history of the unique reef net fishery. Really worth a visit!"
"For a small town museum they tell a very complete and interesting story of the island's early settlers. Lots of authentic period photos and artifacts from the first pioneer families. We thought it was pretty cool and they only ask for a small donation ($4) to go in."
"It was closed when it was supposed to be open. Luckily most of the tiny museum was outdoors so we managed to see part of it."
