"Took a day sailing trip with my family while visiting Orcas Island and we had a great time with Captain Ward. We were six plus the captain, and although the boat is pretty spacious, I'd recommend six people as the max instead of seven. Learning how to sail was one of the best parts of the experience, as most boat trips discourage you from touching anything or being involved. I learned more about sailing in a few hours with Ward than I have on any other boat I've ever been on in the last 10-15 years. He was super knowledgeable and a very funny, sweet guy."

"My seven-year-old son and I had a great evening of sailing with Cap't Ward. I told Ward that my son wanted to learn about sailing. Ward taught him more in three hours than he would have learned at a week of sailing camp. Ward let my son start the motor, back the boat out of the marina, use the tiller, and adjust the sails. He was patient and informative. I couldn't have asked for more. My son wanted to participate in sailing the boat. Had we just wanted to hang out and relax, that would have been fine too. We had a lovely evening sailing around the San Juan's. I would recommend booking this trip in a heartbeat. It was really nice and very reasonably priced."

"Booked this for my dads 60th birthday. We had the best time out on the water. Captain was polite and informative. Easy to jump on the boat and start having fun right away. We saw seals and a porpoise amongst a beautiful landscape. Highly recommend the 4:30 sailing start time as the sunset out there is incomparable! Gets a little chilly so bring a jacket in late summer or after the sun goes down. We also brought on wine and a cheese board which elevated the experience for our group. Would love to go again!"
