"An Alaska Tongass National Forest cruise provided by The Boat Company does not disappoint! It’s the only nonprofit cruise line in the world, and the M/V Liseron surpassed all my expectations. We hiked and fished, kayaked, and whale watched. My son even swam during the polar plunge. Burrr!! The crew members were knowledgeable regarding native fauna and wildlife. They provided an up close and personal communion with nature. The service and gourmet food were top notch, and our staterooms were roomy and clean. We could not have asked for a better vacation. A cruise on The Boat Company is the perfect way to integrate experiencing the beauty of Southeast Alaska with first class customer service."

"By far, one of the best experiences we've had! Everything was top notch, and geared to the passengers. From start to finish, everything was organized and, well, perfect! Fishing, hiking, glaciers, whale watching, so much to see and do!, then there was on board! Our cabin was comfortable, spotless..well, the whole ship was spotless!, the food was spectacular, and the Mist Cove Crew was the best ever! Thank you for that once-in-a-lifetime experience!"

"We were very disappointed with our experience. First of all you lied about why the boat left at 2 pm instead of 11am Second you were a crew member short which compromised the dinning service. Third the guided hikes were misstated. A 5 mile moderate hike turned out to be difficult climbing over 4' fallen trees and 8 miles!! Fourth we only had one presentation in the whole week. Woefully inadequate. Friends who have gone on other cruises got lectures EVERY day Fifth the fly fishing guide was not qualified to be a fly fishing guide. On 3 excursions we caught 1 trout between 3 anglers! Other than these glaring disappointments the Food was excellent , the cabins spacious and comfortable and the crew was courteous and pleasant."
