"This is way overdue! John and Janaea were able to make a very special sunset cruise and surprise proposal happen during the busy 4th of July holiday, 2021. The wine, meat and cheese platter, and sail boat were absolutely wonderful! Janaea and Capitan John had great tunes, great conversation and made us feel like we’ve been friends, sailing in the Sound for years! We connected over food and Janaea shared some of her favorite places in Seattle. I cannot express my gratitude enough and we very much look forward to getting back on the water with these two. If you have the opportunity… DO IT!!!"

"My family and I have been sailing with Blue Whale sail twice now. We just took our second trip this weekend and it was wonderful! My two and a half year old daughter came along for the sail this time and had a grand old time, hair blowing in the wind, fascinated when the sails went up and down. John and Janaea had everything we needed on board to make her safe and comfortable like a child size life jacket and cozy quilts. John told us lots of amazing sailing stories and we all laughed a lot and had a great time. Would recommend a sail with John and Janaea any day!"

"We wanted our Mom's birthday to be extra special this year since it was a "milestone" year birthday and we could not be there to celebrate with her, so we arranged for a 2 hour lunch sail experience for her and our Dad to enjoy. They had never been on a yacht before, or had an opportunity to sail in the Puegot Sound, so this was new and exciting adventure. John and Janaea were very attentive and so kind and made everything about the experience so wonderful and memorable for both of our parents, who gave nothing but rave reviews about everything from the delicous meal Janaea prepared and the beautiful boat to the enjoyable conversation with Captain John and talented chef, Janaea. In short, they had an absolute BALLenjo, enjoyed every single second and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you, John and Janaea for making such a special day for our Mom's birthday. She will surely treasure the memory for years to come! "Professional, accommodating, and an all around enjoyable experience from beginning to end. I contacted the company 6 months prior to planning a proposal on their beautiful boat and Janaea (one of the owners) made the process so painless it almost had me worried. You could instantly tell this was not their first time entertaining on this boat and it was obvious from the moment you step aboard. I opted for the food package (highly recommended) which Janaea procured from the absolute best local vendors which included locally made salami, artisan bread, smoked salmon, baked brie, and this was all accompanied by a rose. Captain John and Janaea had many stories and always made sure we were having the best experience possible. Words from this review cannot express how wonderful and truly special this made our engagement and i would recommend this experience to everyone!"
