"I ordered two travel backpacks about 10 years ago, and they have a lifetime warranty on them. My partners backpack has held up beautifully, still looks brand new, however mine lost a strap and had some fraying inside that interfered with the zipper. I reached out to the company, explained the situation, sent some pictures and they are true to their word replacing my backpack. The customer service is the best I have had in a LONG time: quick, polite, professional responses that actually just solved my problem with little effort on my part. In addition to that, we LOVE the backpacks, they are high quality and I look forward to many years of travelling with my new pack when it arrives. Thank you!"
"We loved everything about the Rick Steves tour! Our guide was literally the best! Sje was very bubbly and full of knowledge! She always made sure each and every one of us was fully taken care of! 1st of many tours with this company"
"In July of 2009 my wife and I bought two rolling carry-on bags from the Rick Steves' Europe store. They have been to Europe multiple times, on a number of trips around the U.S. and into Canada, to Alaska and even to Australia. Recently a chunk broke off of one of the wheels. I called the store yesterday and the customer service lady easily found our purchase based on my phone number. She told me they no longer have that bag but that all their merchandise is guaranteed and they would send me a replacement bag free of charge. How is that for service?!!!!"
"I've watched Rick Steves' travel shows for years, so getting a chance to check out the shop was really cool. His products are good quality and reasonably priced, and the employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of info to be had. Looking forward to the spring travel festival and the possibility of going on one of his tours next year."
"Loved this shop! It has a comprehensive list and suggestions of places to go to in Europe. We went because we were such huge fans of Rick Steves. Too bad we weren't looking to travel to Europe at that time but it would have been fun just hanging out there and doing all your research there. There's free wifi in the shop as well! Oh, and the people who work there are just absolutely welcoming, helpful and super friendly."
