"This is a very pretty cafe, with a great looking display of baked goods. Taste wise it's a hit or miss. The savory vegetarian croissant, and the Kouign Amann (more of a sweet croissant, than the traditional pastry) were the best items I tried. The plain croissant is okay, it's a little too sweet. The pistachio palette had a delicious paste filling, but the pastry was dry and salty. The French toast just tasted of egg, and I needed the syrup to be able to eat it. I'd love to see more savory vegetarian pastries."
"This is a cap hill staple! I come here regularly and have tried almost everything on their menu, you really can’t go wrong. They have sweet and savory options! The Raspberry Croissant and Chocolate Hazelnut Croissant are pretty unique. But my personal favorites are the almond croissant and the spinach croissant. Such a quaint vibe, I love sitting upstairs or on the patio! During the week I’ve never had a problem finding seating, but on the weekends (and when the weathers nice) there might be a short line. They have merch now - very fun!!"
"cute little bakery in Capitol Hill on a quiet street! i loved the outdoor seating and there was a surprisingly large amount of seating inside despite how small the space is. it is a bit cramped but there is a small upstairs area as well. the pastries were delicious (blueberry crumble and ham&cheese croissant) and the coffee was good too! they use fulcrum coffee "
"On this rainy day, I visited this charming bakery and bought a chai latte, chocolate croissant, and eclairs. I really enjoyed the crispy and delicious chocolate croissant, and the caramel-flavored eclairs were also outstanding. I'll definitely come back!"
"Cutest 2 story loft bakery cafe ever! It’s got really fresh baked goods and delicious teas and coffee. The French toast is to die for and I would go again for all the other pastries. Who can say no to buttery goodness?"
