Reviews of Wynoochee Dam Visitor Center
"Its a gorgeous drive through the Olympic National Park. You can take Donkey Creek Rd which is gravel and fun in a truck or you can choose the black top for a leisurely cruz. This time of year the water level is low and the scenery is spectacular. You are able to drive around so you can see both sides of the damn. The viewing center gives you an amazing view and is a thrill if you are afraid of heights in anyway. If you enjoy the Olympic National Forest... take the time to check out the Whynoochee Lake, Damn and campground area... you'll love it!!"
"The water is beautiful and relaxing to listen to. There's a covered area to hang out under on the hot days and the grounds are clean, so you can toss a blanket and picnic with the family. It's a good place to spend the day relaxing and enjoy the peace and quiet."
"Nice drive to the lake, not much to see."
"The overlook was cool with lots of parking with a trail up to the lake. Had some pictures and exhibits of the dam being created and some educational elements. It's worth the drive. Enjoy!"
"Awesome Vista overlook. Well maintained, interesting information panels, clean restrooms, dumpster and dog waste bags provided. Worth the trip to see the dam if you ask me!"
