Patty's Eggnest

"I’ve been a customer of this Patty’s location since it opened but I’m writing this negative review now because I don’t think that this location is being managed well, and I’m strongly considering not returning. My problem isn’t with the kitchen staff, or the servers, my problem is really just with management. Patty’s recently introduced an automated system that says “Hello, welcome.” whenever anybody walks through the door, really near the door because the voice says it’s catchphrase several times for each customer walking through. I complained about it to the server who cashed me out, but she said that she has heard several complaints from other customers about this system, but that “the manager likes it”. I’m not impressed with a manager who doesn’t listen to several instances of customer feedback. Period. Moreover, another minor annoyance is that management isn’t ensuring that the kitchen staff are preparing the food correctly. The kitchen staff simply doesn’t know what lemon wedges are. I was served fish with lemon wedges that just couldn’t be squeezed because they’re thin slices, not wedges. I would have hoped that management would be ensuring that staff knows what to prepare. While that’s largely true, there are gaps on basics like this. I want to reiterate that although I have a problem with the food, my issue isn’t with the hard working folks in the kitchen slogging away who are cooking the food well, it’s with the manager who’s not ensuring that they know how the plate should go out and how meal prep should happen."

"Fantastic little place. Seated quickly (2 people), and food arrived in 10-15 minutes despite them being busy. PLEASE get the banana bread french toast if you like banana bread, omg.... absolutely fantastic stuff!!! Only one star off of atmosphere because the tables near the door are pretty drafty, but it didn't really detract from the meal."

"Food is really good, I always like the taste and the portion sizes. I love how they decorate the place for every season, even they change the mugs too! Service is always great, no matter how bussy they are, servers are always in a good mood."

"Amazing food. I thought I had calculated the right amount of money to pay for my food. I was $1.80 short and I was going to ask my aunt and my friend Michael if I could borrow five bucks so I can pay them but she was so kind and generous and understanding that she said not to worry about it, very amazing and kind generous people. You must go and try their food. It’s so yummy."
