It seemed like the rest of the boats went off to see a more convenient group of whales, which left us and one or two other boats alone at Pea Pod Rocks with Mr. Floppy Fin and a bunch of his family. "We Had a Wonderful early season (May 2023) Orca Only Whale Watching Tour; leaving out of North Beach, what the Orcas locals call “the ditch”. Everyone involved with Orcas Enchanted was so nice, friendly, knowledgable, helpful, as well as professional and down to business. Huge Shout out to Liberty ! Who I’m told is one of the only female commercial whale watching captains in the San Juan Islands! (#girlboss much?) I’ve been on several whale watching tours in the San Juan Islands throughout the years, and no one - hard stop NO ONE has ever gone farther (geographically & ideologically) than the fine folks at Orcas Enchanted did, to ensure we ACTUALLY saw what we came there to see… ORCAS aka killer whales. Liberty was so knowledgable too, I’ve picked up a lot of whale facts over the years, and she had all kinds of new interesting insight into the various species of orcas and their behaviors. (And some fun tales and anecdotes about the Salish Sea, again many that I’ve never heard!) It was exciting! Not to mention… The Whales! The Giant, beautiful, gorgeous whales. Two different groups popping up on different sides of the boat as we idled in the Canadian waters. Playing, Hunting, being cool. An Amazing day, was great to share it with so many other orca whale enthusiasts (including my mom). Highly recommend, especially, if your goal/dream/intention is to see these magnificent creatures in the wild, this is one of the best chances you’ll probably ever get to do that. Recommendations: Pack a bag, a snack! a hat &/Or sunblock, chapstick, a windbreaker (this boat goes fast !!!) - Extra hand sani/wet wipes in case you have to use the on-deck john. (a blessing but small) Oh... and Bring someone who loves whales! :)"

"Enjoyed a bucket list evening with Captain Drew, Libby, and Tiffany! Coasted for over 2.5 miles with a Pod of Orcas. The crew was very educated and informed us about the wales species and the Pod we witnessed. Then experienced a humpback wale Lung feeding on its side! An incredible encounter not witness very often! Highly recommend this company for a fun, relaxing, informative, and incredible whale watching experience! Bonus was a rock overflowing with massive sea lions as they took us close to see them sunbathing!!"

"I went out twice with Orcas Enchanted, both experiences I will cherish forever. First it was Captain Drew and Naturalist Liberty - we saw humpback whales, a sea otter, and a colony sea lions, as well as all sorts of seabirds, as well as bald eagles. A couple days later, went out on a private charter with Liberty, this time in the role of Captain. We must have seen over a hundred porpoises. It totally blew my mind. If you’re thinking of going out to look at marine mammals, look no further. The crew were professional, knowledgeable, and from what I understand they guarantee whales every time! So glad that I went out with Orcas Enchanted. I will definitely be back."
