"Enjoyed a very nice dinner here. The menu isn't large but what they do offer is very good. I was disappointed that even though it's attached to a bakery (not open during dinner hours), bread with the meal is not complimentary. The portions are not large. I ordered the salmon, which was delicious, but probably only a 3-4 ozs piece. About the same for my wife's halibut. The cheesecake was amazing and I highly recommend that. We were able to walk-in (likely due to being here off season) but I would recommend making a reservation."

"Beautiful decor with a cute garden out back. Restaurant and bakery. I come here when I visit Seaside. Gerhart is so nice and quiet to take a break from the fun busy seaside. I has a crab chowder and marionberry scone."

"Delicious and friendly dinner service! We wanted to order everything on the menu but narrowed it down to the following: green beans chalkboard special, chowder, focaccia, and oysters, and Miso Salmon, all of which we would order again! Perfect amount of food for 2 people. The salmon had a crispy skin and a spicy sauce that melted in our mouths. The oysters had unique and wonderful flavors. The chowder had plenty of fish in it and tasted so cozy and delicious! We made room for 3 desserts: stone fruit tart, cheesecake, and chocolate chip cookie. If you’re short on room, go straight for the cheesecake!!! Service was excellent and we will happily return!"

"Pacific Way Cafe was a great find in Gearhart Oregon. The atmosphere was very calm and cozy, I would say a little on the fancier side, which the pricing indicates, but is reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. We had the Clam Chowder and Dungeness Crab & Shrimp cakes to start. The chowder was good but the crab cakes were fantastic! They were by far my favorite dish of the night. It was served with pickled veggies and a lemon caper yogurt sauce that balanced everything perfectly. After that my boyfriend ordered the Togarashi Halibut and I had the Miso Glazed King Salmon. The Halibut was cooked perfectly and was served with delicious seasoned vegetables that brought a lot of flavor and brightness to the dish all around. It had a slow heat that we liked, but it didn’t impair the flavor experience of the dish. I had the Miso Glazed King Salmon and it was wonderful. The salmon skin had a great crunch that balanced the meat of the salmon well. The Veggies served with it were on the spicer side, still palatable but noticeable, and paired extremely well with the salmon. All in all I feel that the Chef at this restaurant has a passion for the food they are making and a great pallet. Their care and creativity shined through with each dish and I appreciated being able to eat such great quality food in a small coastal town! The service team was also amazing! We had a great experience and would definitely recommend trying it out!"

"We had a very pleasant evening and an excellent meal here. We shared two starters. Chili Roasted Carrots were our favorite but the Fried Calamari & Shrimp was definitely a second best. For our main courses two of us had the Lamb Shank and the other two savored the Steak. All meals had interesting flavors. We shared the Burnt Basque Cheesecake as desert. It’s - as far as we know -the only establishment in Gearhart serving dinner."
