About the Seattle Aquarium
The Seattle Aquarium, located in Seattle, Washington, United States, is a popular tourist attraction that serves as both an aquarium and zoo. The institution is dedicated to marine conservation and provides expert care for all of its animals. The Seattle Aquarium is currently undergoing a transformation with the construction of the Ocean Pavilion, set to open in summer 2024, which will allow visitors of all abilities and backgrounds to explore the wonders of the ocean.
The Seattle Aquarium is also actively involved in conservation efforts, such as the launch of the ReShark coalition to restore endangered shark and ray populations. Additionally, the institution advocates for science-based policies to protect the marine environment at the local, state, and federal levels.
As a responsible guest on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish people, the Seattle Aquarium is committed to building strong partnerships with Tribal Nations and Indigenous peoples. Visitors can support the Aquarium's mission by purchasing a membership, which provides access to the facility for an entire year.
By making a tax-deductible donation to the Seattle Aquarium, visitors can contribute to the institution's conservation efforts and help protect the marine environment for future generations. Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000.

Reviews of Seattle Aquarium
"Hands down the best experience I've had at an aquarium. You can touch , actually touch, the star fish, sea anemone, the sea slugs, and sea urchin....w/o paying extra. We got to feed the urchin! There is so much to see and plenty of staff to tell you all about any creature you encounter. There is a kids area, dining, and clean restrooms. I highly recommend this aquarium."
"The ticket prices are ridiculous when the seals and otters are the main attraction we can go anywhere and see those in the Pacific Northwest. It was something to do, but it’s definitely not worth the hefty ticket prices. Also once you’ve been once you’ve just seen it all because nothing has changed there, since I’ve been going over the last 15 years that I’ve noticed. I just feel like a lot of the information provided about the sea life, and the animals that are shown most of them you can see in our area you can go and read about the salmon cycles for free my city has a touch tank experience for free near the harbor. I just feel like a lot of the stuff you can do there. You can do other places for free or a lot less money."
"Great aquarium with many different areas reflecting different marine environments, informative talks by the staff for each animal, and those staff were already really friendly. The cafe also had a nice range of food options for different diets. I had a great time!"
"The exhibits are very cool. There were lots of school field trips when I went. The tickets are pricey so if you can get an online deal please do. We did have fun though as it was the highlight of my date. We saw an otter poop on another and then swam through like it was nothing and it was hilarious. They were so goofy and playful. We saw some great views from the whale watching area. The otters and seals were my favorite exhibits. I also loved the octopus as he was very hidden. The fish were gorgeous and the staff made an effort to teach me something new about the birds and fish. Overall a great place to have a date and a great learning experience."
"We loved the animal crossing inputs, my baby girls loved that and the fish and sea life. We enjoyed the touching ponds and loved how the sea urchins will try to suck in your finger, and you can touch the sea worms, and other things as well. Beautiful tanks and lots of workers to ask ? on. I guess for a coastal city I expected more and they are expanding May 2024 which will be a new addition and I'd probably give them 5 stars then. . . Fun am visit"
