"Had a lovely visit to a historical mill today. Amazing to see the craftsmanship and the work put into this place."
"Interesting, well-preserved facility and guided tour. Unfortunately the mill no longer runs. The grounds are very nice as well."
"Absolutely beautiful park. A hidden treasure in Allentown. My wife and I were married in front of the gazebo in 2003. This is the type of park you go to when you want to get away from the stresses of life for the day. The grounds are immaculate and there are so many beautiful flowers to see. Pack a lunch, bring a blanket, and find a nice shady spot to sit, eat and connect with nature. There are two streams that run along the park. We used to fish here as kids but I don’t think fishing is allowed here now. We spotted several large Trout while walking over the bridge to the north side of the park. I’m not sure if they still offer tours of the Mill so I would probably call to get more information. There were several people walking their dogs while we were there so I’m guessing it’s a dog friendly park. If you love Photography like I do then don’t forget to bring your camera. You won’t be disappointed."
"We could only see from the outside, it looks preserved, the surrounding facilities are well maintained, a good place to take a picture."
"Very interesting mill if get tour. Mill operations were explained from both mechanical and people side. Also very nice park. Some historian needs to capture in a book all the memories from the people in the area. Mills are such an important part of the history."
