"We had a fabulous experience visiting on October 21st. It was open and a very fun knowledgeable woman gave a fantastic tour. We were so sad to leave early (didn't expect a free tour opportunity!) but the 45 minutes we got were amazing! We even met a woman who was visiting that lived there in the 40s. I highly recommend this place."
"Wish it was open when I went, it was evening. However I got good photos from the window!"
"Wow. What a neat place of history. We weren't there when it was open. Got to read the signs and learn."
"Well maintained place. Cute place with historical significance. It is a quick road side stop to explore history of road tax collection on national road building days."
"Fascinating piece of American history, with the national highway and toll road. The building is intact and filled with period pieces. Picnic tables and shelter are also available. My sister (who lives in Philly) and I (who live in Charleston WV) met halfway to celebrate our birthdays here."
