"Beautiful view from most tables. Went for lunch and was a little disappointed with their clam chowder. Soupy thin chowder that was overpowered by bacon pieces and flavor, overcooked celery, light on the potato, nice amount of clam. I asked for a cup which served as almost 5 ounces. Loved the appetizer crab cakes, but again small sized at $18.00usd. Iced tea was good and service was excellent. Noted the service fee on top with explanation by a form in the receipt wallet was a very disturbing as it goes to establishment not employees. With tip this was over $40."

"Fantastic view. Upscale ambiance and nice music. Warm and welcoming staff. Excellent experienced server. Meals were splendid, plentiful, and delicious. H&C burger was one of the best ever...perfectly done with tasty crispy fries and a crunchy kosher dill. The Monte Cristo omelette was a delightful yummy surprise. Everyone was happy we dined at Hook&Cleaver."

"My son’s family is visiting from Iceland so we decided to try H&C for lunch. Good decision! Pete’s a friendly and attentive server of tasty fare! Shown here are fresh tuna melt and Reuben. Grandson had mac’n’ cheese and I enjoyed the Portobello burger. Definitely thumbs up!"

"Spectacular experience from the first to final second. We were delighted to stumble into happy hour. Which is eclectic and all choices (food and cocktails) were excellent. Dinner and desserts were outstanding too. Highlights were the poke, clams, bacon jam, wedge salads, Ahi and bananas foster. Our server, Chandra was perfect. She was on top of everything and very friendly. Views are obviously a bonus. Highly recommend and we will be back!"
