The Pavilion at Pepper Plantation

"We are very happy with our choice to get married at Pepper. It is a very unique venue for the Charleston area, not to mention one of the cheapest. You just have to be willing to use a different vendor for tables/chairs. I think the only thing I would change about this venue is the bridal cottage. We didn’t use it because it was very small and old. We used an Airbnb nearby for getting ready which worked out perfectly. Also, it’s important to be aware that if there is a wedding there the night before your wedding, the venue will not be “cleaned.” You just have to hope the people the night before will clean up after themselves. Despite this, I highly recommend this venue!"

"Attended a wedding and had a very nice experience. The location is quiet, with beautiful views. The building is rustic decor but has all the comforts necessary to be dressed in wedding attire and be cool in the warmth and humidity. The bathrooms are very clean and also well maintained."

"My brothers hosted his wedding/reception and rehearsal dinner here. It was beautiful, downside is you have only the morning of your even to set up also music must be off by 10pm given that it is in a residential area. Still worth it"
