"Bridget is remarkably kind, personable, and very professional. I enjoy her scientific viewpoint on mental health; she is able to cite applicable research and professionals that help without alienating the patient in the least. She treats a patient like you both are working on a problem together, rather than YOU are the problem. It makes you feel strong. She is also unafraid to call you out on your BS, which I love in a therapist, and never gets all stereotypical, "...and how does that make you feeeeeel?" She is both realistic and optimistic, with plenty of opportunities for laughs during sessions to bring you back to reality. She also allows you to vent if you need it, and directs the conversation in a healthy, productive direction. Bridget listens, ensures she understands, and then offers actionable help. As someone who is goal-oriented, this is invaluable in a therapist. I am actually able to get myself mentally healthier with proven methods that have been applied to my specific situation. I now actually look forward to upcoming appointments rather than become anxious!"
