"I bought a makeup product, didn’t get a receipt because the store was having computer issues, realized less than 5 minutes later that the product I purchased was incorrect due to being stocked in the incorrect location, and went back to return it. They spent 20 minutes trying to load my authorized purchase and return back on a gift card but said that the barcode was not working. Their options were “come back tomorrow” which is a) extremely dismissive and b) impossible as I don’t LIVE in West Seattle. Because of their computer issues I also can’t return to a location closer to me without it seeming obviously stolen…so I am just out this money. Awful experience, no wonder why people just buy things online"
"I went to pick up a new prescription and the pharmacist who "counselled" me could not answer the most basic question about how it would impact another medication I am taking. These two medications have well known interaction that he apparently knows nothing about. He also was not aware of the full extent of the side effects. Just pathetic. I finally had to just leave saying I would ask my prescriber. Definitely not a pharmacist you want to have if you want to stay health and have your medications work effectively. The little replies left on negative reviews don't translate into the hiring of competent pharmacists who actually know how medications specifically for women interact, or translate into a location that is well enough staffed to answer the phones. Don't hire sexist pharamists! Staff the location properly! Make sure pharmacists have done enough continuing education to be able to counsel people on the medications they are there to receive counseling on! This is something that wouldn't have happened to me if I was a man, and if I was on medication that was specific to men."
"Pharmacy staff is great, the seem to be handling the poor management from Rite Aid the best they can. However, the past two times I’ve requested a refill, with at least 5 days notice, my medication has not been ready for pickup or the request has been deactivated and I’m made to call in a refill. Problem with that is they still don’t refill in time. This seems like a potentially dangerous practice for those whose medication is critical to their wellbeing. Fortunately, mine is not, but it doesn’t make the process any less frustrating."
"This place is awesome. Kind staff. Excellent service. Even waived down a prescription fee for me back when I didn't have insurance. Who does that? No pharmacy I've ever been to! Incredible. Definitely recommend. Make sure to have extra time and a plan to kick around a bit if it's busy."
