"This company left my fiancé out in cold when it was his appt for his dressing change. He called and called and told them that rhey ignored him when rhey ignored him when he was knocking at the door. Their response was your insurance wasn't updated so we answer the door. So you left a cancer patient out in the cold bc of insurance??!!! Wow...."
"Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had trying to obtain infusion treatment. They have no idea how to bill private insurance with a Medicare supplement. Made me wait six weeks to basically tell me that my services would not be covered because they are billing it incorrectly. I asked them kindly to call Medicare so they would understand that my primary insurance is Cigna and NOT MEDICARE, they refused. Now I’m stuck without a place to get care. Please avoid this place at all cost!"
"I've done a few appointments so far and the nurses have been great. Flexible schedule. Call in advance for an appointment, they are short staffed, but this is well worth the difference in cost of other providers. My infusion is 3700 when uwmc was charging me 8800 for the same thing."
"This is my second time with Option Care. Seriously lacking in communication every time. The nurse scheduler makes appointments without talking to you, nurses change your time and don't communicate. No one knows what is going on. They think you have all day to wait on them to come and most are very rude. They were going to pull my picc line with an infected arm, they said my doctor requested it and my gut did not feel it was right. Called my doctor and he said he gave no such order, in fact they were restarting me on another antibiotic for 7 more days. All the nurses do is complain about how short staffed they are. Each time the phone communications with the nursing staff have been the worst!! That is if they even call back in a timely manner. I do not feel safe in their care. The pharmacy on the other hand has been wonderful and constantly apologizes for the nursing coordination. The pharmacy has even made calls on my behalf. I let them know I was going to file a complaint. Once again with no call to me and an hour late, not sure if anyone was even coming I had to call the nurse scheduler. She never called back but a nurse finally did just to say she had other patients and was filling out charts and that she would be at least another hour or so. I asked why no one called she just said she had no idea. I had to cancel an appointment to wait for her. Go anywhere but here..seriously! Even the responces from Otion Care from all the complaints I am seeing is just a cut and paste identical statement. this is not care!!!"
"In trying to schedule my infusion I have been given 3 different sets of directions. When I expressed my confusion & need for consistency... I'll follow the procedure, just tell me what the correct procedure is; the staff I spoke with was abrupt, impatient, & generally sent my anxiety into a tailspin. I'm stuck with this provider for now, but as soon as I can I'm getting out."
