"I worked in the Gulf Building for Gulf Oil in the Gulf Tour guide Bureau. In the 50's. My job was to mark maps for travelers. Giving them the best route to their desired destination. Because we worked at a counter facing the customer, the maps were drawn upside down. I enjoyed working with the public, helping them with their questions and. Problems. It was a wonderful job for a young women. We used fine Rand McNally maps and pens using transparent orange marking ink. I was in a national commercial used for television starring Gulf Oil's spokesperson Mr. Red Berry."
