Log House Museum

"A small museum that packs a big punch for local history. They are only open a few hours a week, but manned by enthusiastic volunteers who are very helpful. We were looking for specific info. Questions that could not be answered first hand were quickly researched for us."

"It's free, it's educational and interesting. No tickets needed, no wait. A walk back in time entering well preserved log house with loft. Additional displays in attached annex with local regional historic artifacts including mastodon bones in basement of annex. Nice to see this small town has Historical Society and cares about education, preservation, restoration. Have to check website link on Columbiana City's website for open hours."

"This local historical museum shows off a well preserved log cabin as well as a variety of artifacts from the area. Some displays are always there, but others rotate to allow visitors to see different collections. Genealogy information is also available."
