"A nice little area with pretty easy walking trails , but can go on some longer more challenging ones as well with a small haunt away. We went on the weekend and none of the buildings were open, which was super disappointing but was still nice to look at the scenery and reconstructed village."
"Nice little state park. My husband and I were spending a week in newell, wv for work and this was a beautiful little place to escape the hotel and get some fresh air. There are a number of old buildings, hiking trails, and bridges to explore."

"We've been coming here since our children were very small, 30+ years! We've had school field trips, Boy/Cub Scout outings, & family hikes and picnics. Always enjoyable, restrooms are usually very clean for an outdoor park. A very nice place to go to enjoy nature, see some history, take a hike or just to walk your pet or yourself!"
