"I had a very unpleasant encounter with a staff member today at this pharmacy and will be using another pharmacy in the future as a result. Cherry, the woman in charge of looking up insurance coverage, was incredibly rude to me without any provocation. My insurance bounces between two forms of tricare depending on my family's situation, very common for staff to pull up the wrong account. I'm used to this, its a fact of my life and I'm very patient with explaining this to people as well as how to fix it. Today I was informed I wasn't covered when in fact I was, and when I tried to explain the situation to Cherry (Charon?), she very rudely told me I had to get my medications on base, and when I tried politely to explain to her my situation and that the wrong account had likely been pulled up as the rejection paperwork had my husbands SSN instead of mine, she slapped a paper in front of me to write my social and stormed off before I had finished to spend several minutes on the phone. She returns, grabs the paper, disappears, and comes back to inform me very rudely the cost of the prescription and that it is is fact covered under tricare. I asked, "so my coverage is good then?" or something to that effect, because I wanted to make sure things were squared away for future prescriptions. Halfway through that thought I changed course and said nevermind, you have been incredibly rude and I won't be using this pharmacy anymore, at which point Cherry said "great, have a nice day". I've been in the medical profession for 14 years and try to give people in the industry the benefit of the doubt, but this woman was very rude for no reason, and she has probably done the same to numerous others that didn't have the ability to advocate for themselves because she is either too lazy or incompetent to perform the basic functions of her job, and becomes hostile when her poor performance is called out."
