About the Danbury Fair and Racearena Memorabilia
Danbury Fair and Racearena Memorabilia is a museum located at 295 East Wells Road in Wells, Vermont, United States. The institution is dedicated to preserving the memories of the Great Danbury State Fair and Racearena, which closed nearly 40 years ago. Run by Don and Jenn Miller, the museum aims to bring back the excitement and joy of the fair through the acquisition, restoration, and preservation of items from the fairgrounds. Don's personal connection to the Danbury Racearena, where he used to watch races with his family, inspired him to create a place where others can relive their own memories of the fair. The museum features a collection of memorabilia, including t-shirts and figurines designed by Don, as well as items donated by others who share a love for the fair. Visitors can support the museum's mission by making donations to help acquire and preserve more historical items. Due to the museum being located throughout the Miller family's home and property, guests are asked to call ahead and make reservations for private tours.
