"Love the history and hope to be the one to roof this lovely piece of history."
"The Frazer-Pressley home is a unique gem! It dates back to the late 1700's. I got the opportunity to tour the home when it went up for auction in December 2021, as this house was the childhood home of my mother. It was purchased and is privately owned now, not open to the public. The 3 floors feature identical floor plans with octagonal rooms. There is a central staircase to reach the 3 levels that is accessed by both the left and right sides of each floor. It truly is a magnificent work of architecture."
"Peaceful with lots of local history. The house is a unique octagon design.. The existing buildings were erected in the mid 1800s, but the area has been occupied since colonial times. The original church was established in 1779/1780, and there are many interesting gravestones in the cemetery."

"If you are into history - this is a nice stop. The plantation house with its rounded front is different. The church is old and interesting. I did not see that there is any provision for visiting inside either building."
