Beginning to Birth

"My birth experience was very quick and unplanned. However being able to have a long first meeting to meet this amazing doula hashed out basic wants that merged perfectly with hiring a doula. I was referred by an amazing pelvic floor therapist to help with breathing techniques with my pain management muscle tone leading to a natural unmediated birth as desired. I was so pleased with the advice, help, and comfort Brynn provided me and my husband! I would say hiring a doula is like hiring a friend to be on call where a friend and family may miss it , having an on call lady friend to get medical advice and is so well educated and so worth it . Having all my appointments post birth was definitely not “planned” but is lovely to have. I would have preferred pre baby appointments but births never go exactly as planned but was exactly what I wanted even with no birth plan!"
