Reviews of Northwest Washington Fair and Event Center
"My FFA pig won Grand Champion here in 2016 so one star extra for that. Lower rating because this is not the same fair I went to as a child in the 2000's. Everything is overpriced from food to novelties, and it's the same carnival rides every single year. Only positive is that the admission price really hasn't spiked..... yet."
"Fun for everyone. Weekdays are definitely easier, due to less crowds. Lots of farm animals, food vendors, crafts, and agricultural education booths."
"I was there for a 38 Special concert. It was so good & they rocked the house. Great food & great rides."
"Disappointing. It is literally cheaper and you'd get more of your monies worth at Disneyland which is already ridiculously expensive. Funnel cake undercooked, kiddie rides subpar and not working which you didn't know until you paid $6.60 (11 tickets) for the ride because ride attendants don't speak English. Thankfully, watching my daughter enjoy the poodle and reptile shows and the farm animals made it worth it in the end. Pretty sure it would have cost me half the price to see those things separately though."
"Went to watch a young friend in a barrel racing event. Really clean, nicely laid out and well maintained facility. Horse barn, warm up arena and main arena with audience seating. Announcers were friendly but not overly chatty. Competitors were supportive of each other. Volunteers who were watching helped reset knocked over barrels. Talented "tractor guy" who got as close to barrels as possible and never knocked into any of them. Great first experience with this fairgrounds/horse event."
