"We have been here many times over the years. It was a pleasure walking the battlefield today with the Wofford College class. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. It's not just for the history enthusiast.... I've added some pictures for the nature lover as well!"
"This place is amazing if you like history or just long walks and there is 2 trails you can walk one that is smaller and has historical information and a 2nd longer one that you can bike on"
"I go to the battleground part at least twice a week. With my baby boy, the Duke. And we have short trails that we walked together And we have longer trails that we walk on better days. This park is always clean and free from debris and vagrants. You can enjoy your walk or ride in your car and feel safe and secure without worries of any kind. No matter what kind or type of walker you are, you can always find anything from short to extend it in this beautiful battlefield park. I cannot recommend a better place for Any age from small kids to senior walkers. Come and see for yourself and see why so many folks choose this beautiful park for fitness and recreation. Cookouts are an added bonus with clean tables and grills and also private picnic areas. Come and visit and see for yourself. Lee and the Duke."
"Reminder to anyone planning a trip to see this battlefield. The visitor center is closed on Monday and Tuesday. The trail is still open to the public, and I was glad to see that they are trying to convert some of the property back to the way it was in 1781. It is an easy 1 mile walk, and there are some nice placards with information. Was amazed that there were only two monuments considering how pivotal this battle was. The Scruggs house is a neat representation of a early 1800's house and is a short detour from the battlefield. Standing on the footsteps of a soldier was neat, see pictures."
"Great for walks alone, with friends and/or with family! Beautiful scenery! You can go in the woods on the trail or stay on the road and walk or ride bikes. You can also walk your dogs just be sure to clean up after them of course. Definitely recommend. We did not walk the whole thing this time so i did not get as many pictures as i would like. But there are a few sites to see! Also the trail through the woods is not exactly stroller friendly unless you have a big wheeled one it may be ok."
