"First went here 58 years ago on a date with who is now my wife. We saw "Father Goose." the place has not changed. What a classic theater! Still love the place. Truly a "local" classic theater. The only change is the projector changing to digital due to actual film no longer distributed. Even then the local community helped this great local theater with expenses to stay in business. Go there for a safe great night of fun."
"We love the Blue Mouse Theater β€οΈ Love the history of the theater and authentic vibe. Excellent price, great snacks, fun atmosphere."
"I have wanted to visit this theater for about 50 years. Before now, they were showing something I had already seen. This is a cool neighborhood theater most places have lost. I remember the Blue Mouse Theater in downtown Seattle. The fun begins before you even enter. Look up at the cool neon mice chasing along the marquee. Prices are reasonable, and the selection is great. I was amazed at how detailed the digital projection was. The sound was spot on. Unlike the mall, the people here care about the way the movie is presented. The seats might not be super plush or recline, but they were comfortable for me. The service was friendly. I will return."
"I loved my first Friday night fright.. however... maybe if the movie is supposed to start at 10pm you start your giveaways and trivia at 930 instead of 10. If people want to participate they can come early. My one other complaint is if you are big and tall you will not fit comfortably in the seats."
"This place is incredible! Classic, old-school movies played in a vintage theater from the Art Deco Era. $10 per person/ticket, no online purchase options. You have to buy tickets in person. If it's a popular night, they will sell out fast. We got in 15-20 minutes early for the showing of "Trick 'r Treat." It wasn't sold out, but it was pretty full. Getting anything at the concessions took a long time because they only have 2 ppl running it, serving 150+ patrons. Despite the wait, it's worth it. The staff is so friendly and cool. They did start the movie 30(?) minutes late to start the costume contest and handing out free candy because of the Halloween season. The seats are medium/smaller in size, so if you are a bigger person, it might be uncomfortable. The seats were comfy enough for me, but one of the dudes behind me had to get up to use one of the folding chairs in the special seating area, so there are options. I would highly suggest going to this venue, it's a much better experience than any other theater I've been to. The audience will audibly react to what's going on in a way that makes you feel like you are part of the Mystery Science Theatre gang. Try this place at least once, you'll have a REALLY fun time."
