"Wickford village is a real gem of Rhode island. It's charming and has a real community feel. Almost everyone I've engaged with is friendly and helpful, and there is a real willingness to share their sense of community and knowledge of the area. If you're looking for a romantic getaway with charm and a sense of adventure, I highly recommend it. There's so many great places to visit and eat dive in and enjoy."
"Beautiful town. We’re supposed to go to Newport and this town came on the route. And we ended up spending entire afternoon here. Weather was pleasant, the town had right ambience. Saw couple of good restaurants on the shore. Planning on visiting this place on evening."
"Cute village close to the harbour and the coast. The Main Street is nice and has some cute shops but we found the staff in the shops to be quite unwelcoming - it made us have a bit of a feel of being ‘outsiders’. When walking round the streets people could say hello so the general public seemed friendly. Good walks in the local area and saw lots of wildlife like egrets, cardinals, squirrels and chipmunks! I would say for sure this is a very seasonal place, we visited in the days leading up to Memorial Day and it was very quiet, lots of the shops weren’t open long or opened late in the day."
"Absolutely beautiful! All the little shops was amazing with all artisans work. The harbor had benches to sit at to enjoy the view and the breeze. Highly recommend visiting!"
"A small and cute town in Rhode Island. Located on Wickford cove next to a water body and has a lot restaurants with outdoor seating. This place a lot of beautiful home and it's fun to walk around the place. Also, there are a lot of gifts and antique shops which is also fun. For enjoying this town to the fullest just park your car (there a lot of free roadside parking available) and start walking around the town. Eat, shop & Enjoy!"
