Walgreens Pharmacy

"*Edited because I can’t leave 2 reviews* Can back two weeks later on a Saturday. They were closed and didn’t update google hours. Then came back 2 weeks later (today) either they closed 45 minutes early for lunch or this time they closed without even putting a sign up this time. Customer service implies that they have some. There’s none to be found. I’m not sure what’s worse. The terrible phone system that puts you in line and then dumps the call. When they answer and put you on hold to only hang up on you. Or that for such a large company that is handling drugs their inventory system is complete trash. Why must I call every Walgreens in the county to see if they have the medicine we sent a prescription in for? And when I FINALLY get a hold of someone they tell me that I need to call other stores because they can’t trust their inventory numbers. Let alone the fact that you can’t tell me if and when you’ll fill the prescription. I don’t actually know if I’ve ever had a worse experience with a company that I’ve rather loved over the years. When they start closing these places up you can look no further than the 0/10 customer service from the bottom to the top."

"Updating my review: Pharmacy used to be fantastic, now badly understaffed. The staff they have are great, but can't compensate for mismanagement by corporate. My auto refills are canceled nearly every month, and I have to re-request the fill every time. Then it takes a week beyond that point due to medication shortages. But that means I'm missing several days of pills every month. Last straw: this time they then abruptly CLOSED with no explanation or announcement of when they'd be open again. I moved my prescriptions to a 24 hour store in Lakewood. Still, much love to the pharmacy staff who've seen us through nearly 2 decades of health, and kept us loyal this long. My former 5 star review: They've been excellent, enough that we were relieved when we got different insurance that allowed us to return after 6 months using another pharmacy. They know us by sight, greet us by name, remember to see if my husband has prescriptions ready when I go to get my own."

"Worst experience! They have had my son’s prescription for 5 days and just now ordered it! Called to check on the prescription and was told the provider did not send it in, “no new prescriptions for the person”. Was told that I was a mother that has to keep calling in. It was the first call in 5 days! The pharmacy staff look like they are running around without thinking…way overwhelmed. So overwhelmed that kindness and customer service have been sacrificed. Looking for a new pharmacy!"

"Really great pharmacy, staff is always super professional and kind. I NEVER have an issue with any prescription or anything else, they are just good about staying on top of their work. Makes my life much easier when I don't have to worry about the pharmacy."
