Reviews of Angle Tree Stone
"The town needs to do a better job of keeping vagrants out. The grounds could be kept up, too. It was way better 20 years ago but is still a nice place to chill and have lunch and learn a little about the history of our local counties and towns."
"Easy to find by sign on side of the road off of High Street. small parking lot up the path for about 3-4 cars. The stone is probably 100-150 feet from the parking area. Very nice history to learn. It was good to see it kept in closed area. There was lots of spider webs inside and looks like it hasn't been cleaned off in quite awhile. But still very cool and interesting."
"After not finding a few weekends ago I went today with my grandmother . Finally found it after two wrong driveways lol but when I did I was so happy. It was worth the ride for us. The walk on the path leading to it was very nice. Hope they dont build a neighborhood around it. The houses there are enough and also so pretty to look out. The view in that area is so lovely. Hope it stays the same."
"I would describe it as a “bust”. I took the pictures of the signs because I couldn’t read the signs due to the small print (the signs are pretty far away from the glass) and the lack of light made it difficult to read the text. So, I won’t go back…"
"The monument is protected in a small brick building at the end of a short unpaved road off High Street, sign can be hard to spot. This is not a museum, really not much to it! It is in a beautiful country setting with lovely views. There are a few parking spots.Nice area to go for a walk, farms nearby. No bathroom or other facilities."
