"Great venue, good acoustics. The chairs are a little old, so the stuffing is not as soft as it could be and they're kind of tight for modern American body sizes. However, I would definitely go see a performer here."
"This place is a cozy, locally owned theatre that I have been attending shows at for many years. It is by far my favorite venue because it is comfortable, the staff is friendly and efficient, and you get to be up close and personal with the performers without feeling crowded."
"It's a small, older venue and the chairs are squished together and uncomfortable. The dude next to me basically sat in a quarter of my seat. He was a generally decent person so we commiserated and both chose to make the best of the situation. My point is that if you are anti social and tight crowds give you anxiety then this isn't the place for you. The Alberta is clean, well kept up and the bathrooms are decent. They have a nice bar with great food and drink selections. They also have a free water station which is handy if you don't want to manage a bottle of water at your seat. The sound isn't bad up close to the stage but seems to get better about midway back."
"I love this theatre. We have been to two events there and it's very intimate and fun! The neighborhood is super walkable with lots of great restaurant options."
"Great show! I was gifted some tickets to the flamenco show and the performance was amazing. I was in the second row of chair seats and glad the show was about an hour because it started to get uncomfortable to sit. It was my first time at the Alberta theater, I love that the space is smaller. I felt like the singers were singing directly to me and it was great to be so close to the dancers."
