Reviews of Rose Theatre (1907)
"I attended Dune part two at 1 PM on March 7. It would be good if management would attend to the volume of the movies. It basically became torture at certain of the film, and my loud noise warning even went off on my watch. (Silently) That almost never happens, unless I am standing right next to a dog barking at full volume. It was so uncomfortable at times I could not be the only one that noticed this. Overall, the Rose Theater is a wonderful experience, and I think the people that manage it love it, and are great ambassadors."
"Just what you'd want in a weird hipster theater :) interesting selection of films with emphasis on smaller/independent/foreign films, serving alcohol and gourmet snacks, staffed by very friendly weirdos. The lounge-style Rosebud theater room and starlight room especially are fun. This is the opposite of a modern megaplex movie theater."
"Our 1st time! What an incredible experience. We saw Poor Things (great movie) at the matinee. Large popcorn with fabulous selection of seasoning blends. Blackberry cider on draft. Our own sofa and table. The owner was gracious. The young woman who introduced the movie was vivacious and lovely. Movie finished just in time to drop into Happy hour at Finistre. Cannot wait to come back. What a treasure."
"This is a very unique place. What a special vintage and well preserved business."
"My truly favorite movie experience!! I love the starlight room the most and used to frequent quite often prior to working full time again!! I do book my tickets in advance online as its at least an hour and a half drive. I love the selection of movies and the atmosphere and ambiance are priceless!! I truly love the attention to details, the choices of snacks, beverages offered and the ability to meet with the owner on occasion, Mr. Rocky. So grateful to have a theater in our midst of this caliber!"
