At Rule and Associates, we utilize a state-of-the-art telehealth system to provide our services to all of Washington State. In addition to our virtual services, we have two physical locations in Whatcom and surrounding counties. Our warm and inviting office space at the 909 building on Harris Ave. in Fairhaven offers a comfortable environment for our clients. We also have a location in the Bellingham Towers building in downtown Bellingham, where our providers in three different suites are ready to offer personalized services to the community.

"Do not trust these people!! I called to cancel an appointment ahead of time and to cancel their services because their scheduling wasn't working for me and I wasn't feeling like my therapist was a correct fit. I was charged a $50 fee for canceling with them. I did not miss the appointment and I called ahead of time. I have tried to get ahold of these people and dispute and they do not like to respond back. They will send you to collections if you don't pay their bogus fee as well. They are SHADY!!!!!!! 0 Stars if I could."
"I was on the waitlist for just shy of a year, I finally got a call to schedule with Rob Hutchings and went ahead and booked weekly sessions with him. I did two sessions, during both of which he talked the entire length of the session. The ENTIRE session. He did not ask many questions, he talked in generalizations, it felt very much like being in a psych 101 lecture. None of it was specific to me, and he talked about himself and his issues constantly. I did appointments virtually, and he would get up and move out of the screen and wander around while still talking, he would eat while he was talking and I’d have to listen to him talk with a mouth full of food. I decided to discontinue trying to work with him, it’s clear this was not a good fit, called the clinic on three separate occasions, and never got an answer back. They do not answer the phone and they do not call you back. I finally had to go through the patient portal and cancel a ton of appointments for someone to call me. Between the lack of individualized care, and the inability to communicate with the clinic for scheduling or other issues, I would definitely not recommend."

"Poor communication. I’ve asked for someone to call me back on several occasions, and received nothing. We ended our care with this company when the counselor my daughter was seeing had to leave. He assured us someone would be in contact to set her up with a new provider. Never got a call. Then an email showed up to “remind” me of her upcoming appointment with someone we didn’t get to agree on, and at a time that did not work for us. I think they have too many therapists and not enough office help. I’m sure the therapists are great, but the lack of organization and communication is very unprofessional."
