"Any cancer diagnosis is shocking and devastating. You need not only a skilled surgeon, but a strong partner and advocate on your side to help you through the physical and emotional fight that you are going to need to go through. Dr Musa is not only an extremely skilled surgeon, she’s is that rare provider who genuinely cares about the patient as a whole and is deeply committed to finding the best treatment. I have an extremely rare form of uterine cancer where there is hardly any research or evidence based treatment pathway. Dr Musa has tirelessly pursued avenues of treatment that will buy me as much time with my family and friends and give me the best quality and comfort of life. I simply would not be here without her passion, commitment and genuine care for my well being with out her. I trust her implicitly. She is not only an excellent Gynecological Oncologist, but an amazing person. All of her patients in our Swedish support group have nothing but the most admiration, and adoration for her and her care. Her team at Swedish is so wonderful to work with and so supportive. They keep you well informed of appointments, insurance pre authorizations and finial resources. Dr Musa is very open to questions and will often have her phone out Googling a treatment I heard about from my Facebook Support Group before I even have my full sentence out. I have never felt unheard by her. She is genuinely open to my voiced concerns and questions. Gynocological Cancers are extremely hard to fight with many complications. You need a strong partner who is invested in your care. That’s Dr Musa."
