"We lived at the Daniels Apartments for 5 years and had a great experience for the most part. The apartment management company is pretty hands off, which we actually enjoyed, but if you need to contact them it is super easy through the portal and they always got back to me quickly. There isn't a whole lot of cool places to walk to but there is a Tap house across the street which always has food trucks, Carkeek park and Interurban trail are within walking distance, and Bitterlake Playfield is a block away. The location is still very ideal because you are literally 10-15 minutes away from everything and it is very easy access to I-5 and Hwy 99. There was a time when we went through 3-4 apartment managers within a year and things started to fall apart a little bit, but ever since Maggie (the new apartment manager) has been in charge, things started to get back in order. She is very responsive and actually cares about making that apartments a safe, enjoyable place to live. Here are my pros and cons: PROS: -Reasonable rent -Tall ceilings (even in bottom units) -Plenty of storage inside apartment for how small they are but also offers additional storage for a fee -Quiet community - only 3 levels of apartments -Secure package delivery center -Secure garage parking for a fee but also plenty of free street parking -Next to 711/Broadview Taphouse -Maintenance was quick and timely -Large balconies and first floor has a large shared, fenced backyard space CONS: -Close to Aurora (homelessness in this area is an issue) -Not a ton of windows - apartments are dark (at least on bottom floor) -No amenities -Not updated -Not very clean or well maintained, but like I said Maggie has been actively working on cleaning up the place and has made a lot of progress on making improvements"
