Reviews of Glacier Run Apartments
"The property is beautiful but I give a 2 because the parking is horrible, the yr I stayed there the second gate worked maybe a good month. They do have awesome little treats for the tenants. My advice take plenty of pictures when you move in because we were charged for a bunch of B.S charges on move out.Get a few options before jumping in here Run is in there name hint"
"Don't waste your time, effort and money. Horrible management and office staff. The neighbors are loud and inconsiderate. There is NOTHING to be found in this place that they can charge you for. Really listen to the low star reviews. I've talked to many other people who currently live there and they can't wait for their lease to expire. On the same day that I left, four more people left. That should tell you something. Moving is a nightmare. I even cleaned up well when I left, and they still try to charge ten cents for everything. they charge money for garbage (as if I threw it past) I lived in other apartments and after moving out I never had a debt, I was always returned the deposit. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. The most terrible apartment with good management. Some of the worst in Puyallup"
"Let’s start with if I could give 10 stars I would. Been here a few months. The staff are fantabulous, always smiling and very helpful. Love the events and treats they put for the tenants on Saturdays. Very welcoming. Not to mention, we have the best view!!"
"My sister and I’s time at Glacier Run was okay at best. When we applied, the application process was a difficult and long process, finally everything was approved, and we moved in. All was well for the first few months and only had a few issues with the home such as a broken heater, broken seal, and cracking wall and ceiling which we brought up during the move-in inspection. Fast forward about five months in, my sister had started to notice a line growing bigger and bigger each day. When she came home from work literally a few days she had mentioned to keep our eye on it, there was water everywhere on the floor. We live on the third floor and being as these apartments are newer than most, were a bit shocked that the ceiling had already leaked. The office did not believe us when we told them our ceiling leaked and I had to show them a picture to prove it. It was a long process to be fixed which we understood and were patient about it. However, one time the vendor had come in without us knowing and I happened to be home. He had told me management had said we were gone and that it was okay for him to come in. We had mentioned to management that we wanted someone from their office there with the vendor since we are adamant on who was allowed in our home without us there. They had ignored our request, and we moved on because I happened to be home, and we also needed our ceiling fixed. Another issue was parking. Almost everyone complains about parking here and they are absolutely correct about it. There is not enough parking for the number of units they have and occupants in those units. You will not be able to find a parking spot past 6pm, and you’re taking a huge risk leaving after 6pm since you usually won’t find a spot after. Right before we moved, a ginormous U-Haul was taking up four parking spaces; we took a picture, emailed the office, and parked in the electric spots that no one uses because there was no other parking. Other residents had parked in front of the leasing office. The next morning, we were threatened with tow due to us parking in the electric spot, which I had expected. However, they never tagged the U-Haul and said, “they ran out of stickers.” Furthermore, the office staff were not very friendly during out stay so we usually stayed away from the leasing office whenever possible. Hailey and Cameron were kind when I would go in, but I never once saw the property manager, and was not a fan of the maintenance supervisor. Overall, if you want to live somewhere where they charge you for everything, ($75 carport, $250 garage, $50 charge for an amenity FOB, and ridiculous amounts for your move-out) , then go for it. The amenities were quite nice, and our view of the sunsets were amazing, but I would not live here again for the amount we paid."
"I lived here for three years and it has changed in a lot of different ways. They’ve expanded and continue to expand in the surrounding areas, so it will look much different in a few years. At first we had some hiccups when we moved in but by working with the management we were able to solve those issues. One thing our family appreciated were the events they hold for special holidays and such. It was a nice touch and brought a sense of community. The complex itself is aesthetically pleasing to look at and walk around. They have a nice gym, pool and basketball court which were great to use. The management was friendly and pleasant to work with. The only thing is the parking, to which I’d say go ahead and get the covered parking that way you’re guaranteed a spot. Besides that it was a solid place to live and our family enjoyed our stay."
